She was predeceased by: her parents, Erving C. Taylor and Clara Kiler Taylor; her husband James Howard Gress, Jr.; her children, Linda Ross and James "Jimmy" Gress III; and her sisters, Jeanne Brady and Mary Jane Kauffman.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Harris (Ron), Cathy Wilson (Richard) and Steven Gress (Julie); her grandchildren, Kerry, David, Heather, Jenny, Shelley, Kacie, Zach, Emily and Taylor; and her brother Stanley "Sonny" Taylor. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
