He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Caporaletti; his parents, Mary Vitale and Joseph Vitale; and his siblings, Lucy Porecca and Jack Vitale.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Vitale; his children, Gina Naimoli (Charles), Sandy Coia (Jerry), Domenic (Jessica) and Danny (Lauren); his grandchildren, Charles Naimoli (Carlye), Nicolette Naimoli, Jerry, Angelo, Anthony Coia, Madeleine, Ava, Marissa Vitale, Danny, Nico and Brianna Vitale; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Lily, Luke and Cole Naimoli; his siblings, Joseph Vitale (Julie) and Marie Bodden (Dave); and his son-in-law Edd Caporaletti (Peggy).
