She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond L. Lucas and Dorothy May Lucas; her husband Douglas Frank Leake, Sr.; her sisters, Anita L. Reese and Naomi R. Elliott; and her grandson Jacob Leake.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas F. Leake, Jr., Edward R. Leake and Andrew S. Leake (JoAnn); her sister Jean Modesto (Frank); her grandchildren, Eryn, Cristina, Kyrsten, Andrew Jr., Douglas III, Joshua, Mackenzie, Matthew, Simon, Victoria, Jamie Josephine and Anderson; her great grandchildren, Jase, Aleksander and Lila; and her daughter-in-law JoAnn. She is also survived by her family, especially her sons, sisters, and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kevin Lyons & the Marvil Family Funeral Home (202 S Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Joan's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 501 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074 would be appreciated by the family.
