The passing of Martin Deeney of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Deeney and Alma Deeney; and his brother Joseph Deeney. He is survived by: his spouse Fran Deeney; his children, Marianna Wood (Steven), Mark Deeney, Bryan Deeney, Jessa Wood, Noah Wood and Rowan Deeney; and his sisters, Mary Phillips (late Charles) and Frances Savage (Thomas). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Church (22 E Cooke Ave, Glenolden, PA 19036). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
