She was predeceased by: her husband Regis E. Charlton; and her granddaughter Jessica Diane Seholm. She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Shields and Richard Shields; and her daughters, Lisa Merten, Lori Kroner (Gary) and Lynn Kramer (Peter). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
