She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Drwal and Vera Drwal; her brothers, Henry and Robert; and her stepfather Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Richard C Tappe, Jr.; her children, Richard M. Tappe (Tammy), Carrie Schreiber (Doug) and Renee Mertz (Jason); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Connor, Trista, Ian, Jack, Carter, Coleman, Hayden and Nolan. She is also survived by other loving step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
