It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Assunta Bennardo (Glenshaw, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giacomo Bennardo and Filomena Napoli; and her siblings, Salvatore, Joseph Bennardo and Ann Newill.
She is survived by: her husband Pietro; her children, Maria Paterra (Emidio) and Salvatore Bennardo (Amy); her sibling's children, Edward Newill (Jennifer) and Angela Natoli (Ron); her grandchildren, Angela Schillizzi (Ryan), Dante Paterra (Sara), Emidio Paterra, Nathan Bennardo and Kara Bennardo; and her great grandchild Mabel Paterra.
