She was predeceased by: her parents, August Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Balkey); her husband John L. Schoppen; her son Mike Schoppen; and her siblings, Charles Schmidt, James Schmidt, Dorothy Schmidt and Arthur Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Nobbs (Rick) and Joseph Schoppen (Doreen); her grandchildren, Max Schoppen (Kayla), Melissa Malle (Bryan), Michelle Bulow (Seth), Scott Nobbs, Alex Schoppen and Olivia Schoppen; her great grandchild Savanah Bulow; her brother Kenneth Schmidt; and her daughter-in-law Julie Schoppen.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (2841 Woodland Cir, Allison Park, PA 15101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (2510 Middle Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116).
