He is survived by: his wife Betty Kakavis (Scott); his daughter Susan Powers (Michael); his granddaughters, Alyssa and Julia Powers; his nieces and nephews, Gillian, Courtney (Michael) and Devon (Derek); and his parent Soterios Kakavis.
