He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dancisin and Margaret Dancisin; and his brother Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Dancisin (Hampson); his children, Kristine Cano (Hampson) and Jacob Gregory Dancisin; his grandchildren, Alexa and Dominic "Nico" Cano; his brother Albert "Herky" Dancisin (Carole); and his nieces and nephews, Suzy Dancisin and David Dancisin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Animal Friends or the JDRF Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Diabetes Association.
