She was predeceased by: her husband William "Doc" Dougherty; her parents, Matthew Shegina and Anna Shegina; and her sisters, Anna Mae Scheid, Loretta Ganster and Tresa "Terry" Ketterer.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Barnes (Harry), Donna Dougherty, Dan Dougherty and Denise Kunz (Bob); her grandchildren, Terry, Matthew Dougherty, BJ Kunz (Nicole) and Brad Kunz (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Rian, Hayleigh Dougherty, Addison and Jonathan "JT" Kunz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Church (19 Wilson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15223).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to either the Etna Neighborhood Association, 437 Butler Street, Etna, PA 15223 or the Bread of Life Food Pantry, 94 Locust Street, Etna, PA 15223.
