He was predeceased by: his wife Jennie; and his siblings, Pietro, Joseph, Angelina and Carmella Rio.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Ginger" Swist, Frank Rio (Lois) and Deborah Rahmer (Fred); his grandchildren, Frank Rio (Gina), Jennifer Langner (Robert), Susan Swist, Brandon Rahmer (Rebecca), Francesca Lubrano (Jonathan) and Freddie Rahmer (Arynne); and his great grandchildren, Frank M. Rio, Evelyn Lou Rio, Robert Langner, Valerie Langner, Christopher Rose and Jackson Lubrano.
