He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Poffarl; and his parents, Frederick Poffarl and Gladys Poffarl. He is survived by: his children, Fred Poffarl (Deborah), Laura Bernhard (George), Lisa Crawford (Glenn) and Alexander John Poffarl; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Mike, Kathy, Sandy, Rick, Billy, Jason and Beth; and his great grandchildren, Katryn, Kieran, Kaspiana, Brenne, Damian, Easton, Landon, Ellie, Dominic, Harmony, Layne and Kynlee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Freed-Givnish Funeral Home (124 N Easton Rd, Glenside, PA 19038). A burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (2556 Susquehanna Rd, Abington Township, PA 19001).
