She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence T. Severson; her parents, Mary Padick and Maxim Padick; and her siblings, Anna, Rose, Mary, Helen, Anastasia, Sophie, Alexander, Michael and Margaret.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Severson-Lentz and Sandra Severson; and her grandson Kyle Lentz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Irene's memory may be made to the Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Team (ACCT) in honor of her lifelong love of dogs, or to the American Heart Association (select "Honor Someone Special").
