He is survived by: his wife Edith Durkalec; and his children, Melanie Durkalec (Alexander Esmaeili), Lindsay Durkalec (Matthew Skomsky) and Mark Durkalec (Madeline Schnitzler). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
