She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria and Giovanni; her husband Salvatore Mele (Sam); and her brother-in-law Anthony Mele (late Maria). She is survived by: her brother Anthony; her children, Adam Mele (Kim), Joanne Mele Kraft (Steve), Rita Mele Plotnick (Stuart) and Dino Mele (Valerie); her grandchildren, Christopher Mele, Joseph Mele, John Mele, Samantha Kraft, Michael Kraft, Olivia Mele and Amelia Mele; her sister Giovanna Alcaro (Anthony) (Joanne); and her siblings-in-law, Michael Mele, Mario Mele (Carolyn) and Ann Wiser (Tom). She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
