He is survived by: his wife Brigid; his children, Sheila, Maggie (Kevin), Bern (Lauren), John (Kate) and Holly (Bobby Meyers); his grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Ciaran, Cullen, Sophie, Annabelle and Fiona; and his sister Margaret Ward.
