She was predeceased by: her husband David L. Martin; her parents, Charles William and Hattie Gimberling Brown; her son Terry (late Tammy Brown) of Thompsontown; and her siblings, Nellie Freet, Jesse Brown, Mabel Potter, Helen Musser, Cloyde Brown, Theodore Brown and Ruby Myers.

She is survived by: her son Joseph Stryker of Lancaster; her stepson Jeffrey D. (Vickie Stauffer Martin) of Strasburg; and her grandsons, Dory Ray Brown of Thompsontown and Andy. She is also survived by 4 great grandsons and beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Vera's memory to Limeville Church, 5783 Limeville Road, Gap, PA 17527.
