With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. McFate of Grand Valley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McFate and Annabel McFate; and his sister Beatrice Peterson of Warren, OH.. He is survived by: his sons, Rick David, Rodney Scott (Jenny) and Troy Lynn (Kim); his wife Jean McFate; and his sister Sherly Peterson of Warren, OH. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Scott M. Nelson Fd Tessa Ward Fd (314 N Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (314 N Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371).
