He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sterrett and Mary Sterrett (Mackey); his son Chris Sterrett; and his sisters, Joann Green and Judy Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Crissinger (Kenneth); his siblings, Martin Sterrett (Gayle) of Chicago, Kathleen Napikoski (Ronald) and Maureen Ernest (Junior); and his grandchildren, Nathan Crissinger, Joshua Crissinger, Aaron Crissinger, Rachel Calderon, Abagail Jones, Jessica Daley and Loretta Bower. He is also survived by 25 Great Grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to to Emmanuel Wesleyan Church.
