We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Dora M. Shade of Gratz, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Shade; and her siblings, Irvin Miller, Robert Miller, William Miller, Jr., Bernice Miller Deibert and Helen Miller Headdings.

She is survived by: her children, William R. Shade, Jr. (Susan) and Lynn L. Shade; her grandchildren, Jeromy Shade (Emily), Jared Shade, Laura Shade Barr (Ben), Jennie Shade and Justin Shade (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Darin, Nolan, Kambell, Nora, Rilynn and Walker; her siblings, Charles Miller (PeeWee) and Janet Miller; and her friend Eleanor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Simeon's United Lutheran Church.

“I’m so sorry to hear of Dora’s passing. I have known her since I was a child visiting her with her dear friend Eleanor. Later as an adult I enjoyed her company when we went Christmas shopping and finding new places to eat lunch! Her friend Eleanor has passed and my own mother passed so getting together became more infrequent and difficult since I live in Virginia. I will miss her .RIP Dora!- Chris Starr Schetting”
