He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carbaugh and Florence Carbaugh (Rhodes); and his siblings, Edgar H. Carbaugh, George Carbaugh, Herman Carbaugh, Beulah Mellott, Dolly Jean Diffenderfer, Virginia Gordon and Zelda Wible.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Carbaugh (Mowen); his children, Heather Tosten (Shane) of Greencastle, PA and Jamie Carbaugh (Christa) of Chambersburg, PA; his grandchildren, Jordyn Eberhardt, Rylee Tosten "Roo", Brady Tosten, Delaney Carbaugh and Xander Carbaugh; and his great grandchildren, Ava Eberhardt, Bryar Eberhardt and Eden Eberhardt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home (521 S Washington St, Greencastle, PA 17225).
