She was predeceased by: her parents, S. Leroy Carr and H. Viola Carr (Hager). She is survived by: her husband Richard I. Shatzer; her children, Vicki Marshall (James) and Bryan Shatzer (Angela); her grandchildren, Erica Izer (Alex), Denton Marshall (Krista) and J. Keefer Marshall (Maddie); and her siblings, Kathie Straley and Dennis Carr (Julie).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Marion First United Methodist Church (94 Colorado St. Marion, PA 17235) or the Marion Volunteer Fire Company (5465 Molly Pitcher Highway Chambersburg, PA 17202).
