He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Cordell and Elsie F. Cordell (Clever); his wife Hilda L. Cordell; his son Larry Cordell; and his siblings, Clifford, Herbert, Ross, Kenneth Cordell, Anna Freet, Hulda Russell and Fay Hoke.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Domer (Denny) of Chambersburg, PA and Brian Cordell (Andrea) of Greencastle, PA; his grandchildren, Michelle Norris (Perry) of Greencastle, PA, Michael Wingert (Rachel) of Greencastle, PA, Stacy Domer (Zoltan) of Maui, HI, Aaron Cordell (Hannah) of Philadelphia, PA, Alec Cordell (Noel), Tessa Cordell (Peter), Desserrae McCullough (Cory) of Lutz, FL and Traci Cornwell (Chris) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his close friend Anna Bowers of Hagerstown, MD.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
