He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan R. Summers and Evelyn Summers (Burkett); his brothers, Alan R. Summers, Jr. and Ronald L. Summers; and his son Keith Eugene Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Elizabeth; his daughters, Crystal Mummert (Duke) and Wanda Beeler (Billy); his daughter-in-law Patty Summers; and his sister Anna Burkett (John). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
