Susan E. (Ebersole) McCardell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan E. (Ebersole) McCardell of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Ebersole and Jane Ebersole (Wilson); her husband William M. McCardell, Sr.; and her son William McCardell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Snider (Ronald) of Mercersburg, PA, Dennis McCardell (Kathy) of Greencastle, PA, Robert McCardell (Linda) of Mercersburg, PA, Karen Stansbury (Mark) of Carlisle, PA and Rodger Naugle (Pam) of Chambersburg, PA; and her sister Pat Collins of Waynesboro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
