With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Suzanne G. Rice (Greencastle, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Suzanne left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Diehl Gingrich and Pearl Henneberger Gingrich; and her brothers, Howard Diehl Gingrich Jr., Warren Alan Gingrich and Richard Henneberger Gingrich.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Frederick Rice; her sister Marie Louise Gingrich; her children, Christine Lee Rice, Michael John Rice and Ann Rice Dunn; her grandchildren, Laura Rice, Garrett Rice, Will Rice, Suzanne Dunn and Madeline Dunn; and her great grandchildren, Jayne and Nathan Rice.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home Inc. (45 S Carlisle St, Greencastle, PA 17225). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the ARC of Franklin-Fulton County, the Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center, or the Occupational Services of Chambersburg.
