William Thorne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2025, at the age of 73, William Thorne (Greencastle, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Thorne and Katherine Thorne (Parr). He is survived by: his wife Jayne Keller; his daughter Amelia Thorne (Justin Moore); his brother Jeff Thorne (Bev); and his stepdaughters, Kristen Willwerth (Josh Steele), Laura Dunbar (Blake) and Megan Willwerth (Joey Roberts). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
