He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eschelbacher and Pearl Eschelbacher; his wife Rev. Ruth Walney; and his siblings, Dorothy Opfar, Edward Eschelbacher and Ronald Eschelbacher.

He is survived by: his sisters, Sylvia Dillon of McKeesport and Norma Hennle of Ohio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In leiu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Prayer Time Cathedral PO Box 86, Boston PA 15135.
