Brown (Cumpston); his daughters, Kathy Hutchison (Rob) of Mount Morris, Peggy Hall (Rick) of Greensboro, Jenny Robinson (Ivan) of Greensboro, Sheila DePhillips (Mike) of Waynesburg and Lois Mahan (Jay) of Claysville; his siblings, Sarah Cruz, Bessie Carter and Thomas Brown; his son John Layton Brown; his siblings, Robert, William, Charles Brown and Ethel Bonivich; and his grandchildren, Thomas Hutchison and Grace Sauerezopf. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
