He is survived by: his wife Melody Broderick Higgins; his children, John Higgins, Laura Baca, Kathy Jordan, Karen Butler, James Higgins, Kimberly Clark and Mabel Lovelace; and his siblings, Frances Ruse and James Higgins. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
