He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his brother Keith Kapalka; his children, Kimberly Kapalka (Roger Covert), Timothy Kapalka (Robin), Janet Guy (Andrew) and Gregory Silvis (Alice); and his grandchildren, Corinne Kapalka, Samantha Campbell, William Kapalka, Gabriel Kapalka, Gwyn Kapalka, Andrew Guy and Abby Silvis.
