Basl of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Basl and Dorothy George Basl. He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Pollack Basl; his children, Joseph Basl (Shelly) of Wexford, Stephen Basl (Stephanie) of Whitehall, Matthew Basl (Melanie) of South Park and Lauren Zaccheo (Thomas) of Millersville; his grandchildren, Grayson, Bentley, John David Basl, Thomas Zaccheo and Sydney Basl; his siblings, Robert Basl (Kathy) of Wexford, Judith Basl of Sewickley and John Basl (Pam) of Brockway; his father-in-law Joseph Pollack of McKeesport; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Firda (Robert) of McKeesport, Jackie Pollack of McKeesport and Kim Pollack of McKeesport. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
