David P. Silvis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David P. Silvis of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David P. Silvis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O. Silvis and Edith Silvis (Deemer); his son David S. Silvis; his son-in-law Dave Cortazzo; and his siblings, Charles H., James O. Silvis, Mary Jane Henry, Margaret Gibson and Evelyn Fink.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Silvis (Stoila); his daughters, Vickie Wille (Dan), Cheryl Cortazzo and Wendy Gillis (Randy); and his sisters-in-law, Lorena Silvis and Nancy Silvis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harrold Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601).
