He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Noonan and Nora C. Noonan (Serena); his brother Lt. John F. Noonan; and his wife Mary Lou Noonan (Bytheway). He is survived by: his children, Cathleen J. Noonan, DC, Patrick T. Noonan (Jennifer) and Col. Sean E. (Colleen); and his grandchildren, Michael, Norah, Lauren, Sean and Danny.
