He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Sr. Maffit and Dorothy G. Maffit (Smith); and his daughter Ashley Hunter. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Rugh (Jonthan); his grandchildren, Ethan, Eli Rugh and Hayley Hunter; his brother Raymond E. Maffit, Jr. (Sherry Santilli); and his nephew Raymond Maffit, III (Jessica). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
