She was predeceased by: her brothers, Guy "Pepe" Peperato Jr. and Gary Peperato. She is survived by: her mother Meemaw; her husband Thomas Dudley; her grandchildren, Steele, Stella and Kade; and her siblings, Larry Peperato, Marianna Peperato, Melinda Miller, Bob Miller, Lori Howard, Caroline Bannon, Shaun Bannon, Cindy Deemer, Ed Deemer and Michelle Fallat. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers or offerings, Gerilynn's family asks that donations be made to LUNGevity (In Honor of Mama) to give future families the greatest chance to cure and beat this terrible disease.
