James E. Matson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Matson of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James E. Matson Sr. Jim; his parents-in-law, Alfred Spadafore and Ann Maranich Spadafore; his brother-in-law Michael Spadafore; and his niece Shelly Crane McDonald.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine Matson; his wife Jean Matson; his children, Jeff Matson and Melissa Battisti; his son-in-law Mike; his grandchildren, Landon, Eden Matson, Ava, Aubrey and Ryan James Battisti; his sisters, Kathy Crane (John) and Patty Serwinski (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Novakovich (Ronald), Nancy Moussiaux and Diane Coccari Spadafore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
