We are sad to announce that, on June 3, 2021, at the age of 76, James Sumner of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sumner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Sumner and Eloise Sumner; and his sister Pamela Rathers. He is survived by: his wife Roxie Sumner; his children, Ginger Sumner Mauro (Tony) of West Chester and James Perry Sumner, Jr. (Christine) of Greensburg; his grandsons, John, Danny, Luke Mauro, Quinton and Jay Sumner; his brother Bill Sumner (Jane) of Memphis; his brother-in-law Gregg Wright (Elizabeth) of Bettendorf; and his nieces, Lee, Amy, Melanie, Kathryn and Jamie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg, 300 South Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.

My number one "friend for life". I will truly miss you, it all began in a small lumber town of Fulton, Alabama. Those very early years with all the woods, lumber yards, Bassett Creek, water tower climb, boat building, Silver Creek, Boy Scouts, CCHS High, all that together.
