She was predeceased by: her parents, John Descalzi and Elizabeth Descalzi; and her husband Robert R. Rupp. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Richard Rupp, MD (Roya Javid Rupp, MD) and Kathleen Lloyd (David); her grandsons, Alexander, Nicholas, Tucker and Tristan; and her brother Jay A. Descalzi.
