He was predeceased by: his parents, Sol Shpargel and Ruth Shpargel. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Sara (Jason), Karl (Tarah) and Rebecca (James); his grandsons, Jack and Alexander; his siblings, Nancy (Douglas) and David (Monica); and his sister-in-law Nancy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that all in attendance wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Jerry's memory be made to Congregation Emanu-El Israel or the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library.
