The memory of John R. Hugus of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice W. Hugus and Kathleen Michaels Hugus; his former wife Judith Mesich Hugus; and his siblings, Mary Ann Foster, Edward and Welty Hugus.
He is survived by: his wife Sammie Steel; his children, Jennifer Davis (Jeff) of Greensburg, Jeannine Zeigler (Jeff) of Springboro, OH, Jessica Zahorchak of Greensburg and John M. Hugus (Rebecca) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Jordan Fratto (Frank), Cullen, Casey Quigley, Allie (Noah), Annie Zahorchak, James and Jacob Hugus; his great grandchildren, Giovanni and Natalia Fratto; and his siblings-in-law, Roz Hugus, Joanne Pallitto (Burt) of Greensburg, Thomas Szymanski of North Huntingdon and Ronald Szymanski (Janet) of Monroeville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
