He was predeceased by: his father Joseph John Ginter; and his son Joseph Richard Ginter. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Lakin; his son Nicholas Ginter (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Cameron, Chloe, Sydney and Avrie; and his siblings, Sandra Cecconello (Dennis), Patricia Ginter, Margaret McAlpine, Richard Ginter (Helen) and Phyllis Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
