He was predeceased by: his father James R. Cunningham; and his nephew Christopher Connelly. He is survived by: his mother Joanne Thornberry Cunningham of Greensburg; his sisters, Paula Carlson (Paul) of Bellwood and Linda Connelly (James) of Jefferson; his nephews, Shawn Connelly, Adam Carlson and Nathan Carlson; and his niece Elizabeth Defibaugh.
