He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gritzer and Helen Radak Gritzer. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn J. Safko Gritzer; his sons, Robert M. Gritzer of Greensburg and Mark J. Gritzer (Chandra D. Gorton) of Clearfield; his siblings, John M. Gritzer (Doris) of Johnstown and Patricia A. Gritzer of Johnstown; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Costic (James) of Greensburg and Carolyn Kaharick of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
