He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jr. Hunt and Irene Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Hunt; and his children, Wendy Kemerer (Jeff), Sandy Chacon-Stauss (Karl), Kimberly H. Landa, Sarah Cooper (Jonathan), Mary Wilmert (Steve) and Tim Hunt (Heather). He is also survived by "Grandad" and "Pop‑pop" to 27 grandchildren including spouses and 5 great‑grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for those comfortable to donate to Charter Oak Food Pantry or American Red Cross in Stan's honor.
