He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Marvin Jacobsen and Mary Balaban Jacobsen; his former wife Elizabeth Koeth Jacobsen; and his siblings, Paul Jacobsen and Judy Budwig.
He is survived by: his fiancée Deborah A. Scarpitti of Greensburg; his sons, Nathaniel Jacobsen of Cleveland, OH, Ryan Jacobsen of Greensburg and Adam Jacobsen (Brooke) of Jeannette; and his brother Stephen Jacobsen (Bonnie) of Coon Rapids, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
