With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas R. Lakin Sr. of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lakin and Alice Ryan Lakin; his wife Jeannine Mae Smith Lakin; and his son Thomas R. Lakin, Jr. (Thomas). He is survived by: his children, Terri Reese (George) and Jay Lakin (Kim); his grandchildren, Rob Reese (Shannon), Taylor Germovsek (Pat), Rachel Reese, Mandi Leonard (Casey), Kacie Chmiel (Chris), Brittney Brown (Drew), Ty Lakin (Lindsey), Nicole Plues (Brian), Kelsey Fleegle (Zach) and Tony Lakin; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Coleman, Kai, Carter, Lorelei, Mason, Reagan, Harper and Wyatt; and his siblings, Ron Lakin (Marlene) and Donna Garrison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
