William Hacke Silvis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hacke Silvis of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Silvis and Mary Maude Johnson Silvis; his wife Joan DelVecchio Silvis; his children, Timothy Silvis and Tina Silvis Peter; and his sons-in-law, Thomas Kerila and Eric Peter.
He is survived by: his children, Toni Kerila of Little River, SC, Teri Moidel (Gary) of Harrison City, PA, Tami Herrington (Brad) of Export, PA and Todd Silvis of Little River, SC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Greensburg or to a charity of one's choosing.
