Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Eich and Marian A. Eich (Porter); her husband Arthur W. Runkel of John's Lutheran Church; her stepson Mike Runkel; and her sister Shirley Dick.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Sherry Maggio (Chris) of Culpepper, VA and Steve Runkel (Becky) of Davidson, NC; and her siblings, Jean Zane of Greenville and Terry Eich (Pam) of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (10 Beil Hill Rd, Greenville, PA 16125).
